Okay. First off, your "lover" should suck it up and use a condom. It's not just all about what he wants. ESPECIALLY if he's married. You are probably not his only girlfriend and condoms are your only protection against disease.
Secondly, there is NO WAY to prevent pregnancy 100%. NO WAY outside of sterilization (he gets a vasectomy or you get your tubes ties or a hysterectomy), that is.
Lastly.... you are the best example of a classic stereotype I've seen in weeks! Bravo!
Oh.. and you should definately have sex with the kiss kiss bang bang guy.

If you do not like the Today sponge and he doesn't want to wear condoms then you must stick w/ the pill -- or go get the Depo shot; though some women gain weight on that too -- you get the shot and don't have to think about anything till the next shot, very convenient. There are alot of options, none are 100% effective.

The best way by far to avoid pregnancy is to abstain from sex. More young couples are finding this to be a good solution because it lets them concentrate on other aspects of their relationship without sex getting in the way. And it's my bet that once sex is not an issue for the two of you anymore, you'll realize that sex with a married man is a very BAD idea!
