I already have ewido anto-spyware program and AVG free addition. Is there anything FREE on the web I can download to get rid of this virus which is killing my computer.
I am not that great with this stuff so a step by step account of the actions I need to take, plus any direct links would be greatly appreciated.

By now the trojan will be in System Restore, so you have to switch that off. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore then follow the wizard to switch it off.
You should then run Avast and Ewido in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode reboot and repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.
Let the programs run, then reboot and run your Ewido scan again to check if it worked.

Here is the software to help you loads, it's called A-squared Free type is in the search box and download. This will remove Trojan horse and after you get rid of it download freware called Avast 4 home edition.

If you type the name of the trojan horse into google, you well get advice on how to get rid of it. I had the same problem, but I think it only happens with AVG. I followed instructions on a website and deleted the infected files. I think you should buy norton antivirus and remove AVG. This might even be enough to get rid of it.

windows defender is a free program from Microsoft, I have tried it out and it keeps my system clean. I have also downloaded on to another computer which had a Trojan and it was destroyed, if it can not be destroyed, it will quarantine it

Try to search in yahoo search engine for the Trojan removal kit down load the kit and intall in you PC and open the software and run it will remove the Trojan.
