Well, if you want to have an easier time trying to sleep, avoid caffeine at the very least 6 hours before bedtime. This is very important if you have insomnia - try to completely eliminate caffeine from your diet (iced tea, soda, chocolate).
3 hours before, stop watching TV or stop using the computer, as this can stimulate brain activity. Avoid eating heavy meals before bed; just have a light salad, or if you can, just a few pieces of fruit.
If you find yourself having difficulty drifting off, get up and read a chapter from a book (no comic books!) or something spiritual (such as a Bible). Afterwards, try to sleep again.
You can also try Melatonin, which is a natural substance that promotes sleep. Take one or two 3mg tabs before lying down. You can ask your doctor about this if you're unsure.

Maybe you should change your job regardless of you liking it. Seems like it is making you into a crazy person. Maybe it pays well, maybe the people there are nice, etc. but your mental health is really poor. You can either stay and make the best of it (learn to enjoy it, stop complaining, learn to look at the bright side, figure out a way to sleep better, etc.) or you can find another job with better hours. How can you possibly like your job if you're grumpy throughout the day? Figured it would cloud your perspective.

Change your perception. As long as you "hate getting up in the mornings" then you are going to continue to hate getting up in the mornings. Try another strategy, especially if you like you job (because jobs, particularly good jobs, are very hard to find in our current economy, my husband has been looking for several months). But switch up your routine. After work start doing some strenous exercise, but make sure it is at least two hours before you go to sleep. Do some cardio (like swift walking, running, jumping jacks) and maybe some strength training (with weights). Make a routine that you wake up at 4am for work everyday and give yourself at least an hour to prepare yourself for work, make sure you exercise after work and establish a routine that you go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday. And just be appreciative that you live in a country that allows you to have a job that you can at times grumble about. But it all is a matter of perception: wake up and say affirmations every morning like I am glad to wake up, I am glad to be alive, and I am glad to go to a job that I like. Cut down or eliminate caffeine from you diet all together (caffeine is an energy killer-avoid coffee and pop especially). I would also say do some internet searches on healthy foods to eat during the morning and afternoon that will give you a natural energy boost. Good Luck!

I know what you mean. I have to get up really early for work some mornings or most mornings. It really hard to wake up and "it's like leave me alone" when I walk in the door & they start telling you have to do this and that!
Maybe take a light sleeping tablets early in the night so when you go to bed you go to sleep straight away.

Try going to bed late.(^_^) That way, you're gonna be sound asleep. Just make sure that you have enough time for sleep, though.
I know the feeling; I hate waking up during school days just to go to my classes. And sleeping early doesn't work for me. So I gave sleeping a bit late a try, and it works fine for me.
I also try to do stuff in the morning that will make me feel great and more alive. Exercise is one. A good laugh is another.

I have been a night owl all my life and don't think there is any way to change it. When I have to get up for work I have to force my self to sleep.
Not sure you can change it. I hear Melatonin stuff is great naturally.
Something I used to do is go out for long walks like at 5 am but I came back in and crashed when my daughter was in school.
It is hard to change.
Anything you can do to enjoy the morning will help

maintain a strict sleep schedule - even through the weekends - so that your body becomes accustomed to getting up early. try melatonin; supposedly, it resets your internal clock. drink warm milk, before bed, unless lactose intolerant, vegan, or kosher-and-just-ate-meat. try a glass of wine, as well. i'd space the two beverages out, a bit (in fact, i wouldn't drink the milk - blegh). just one! you really shouldn't mix tylenol with wine, but my ex swears by tylenol as a sleep aid... perhaps it would prevent the morning headaches. use an alarm that isn't jarring (they have nice bell ones, now, that start off low and increase in volume). avoid caffeine at night. this can include sodas and chocolate, as well as tea and coffee. herbal teas (chamomile and the mints) can help. ONE of those has got to help!

I savour getting up early....having the homestead to myself...having the city to myself on an analogous time as lots of it sleeps. And for the checklist, I sleep little or no...and in many cases am up until a million-2 am...and in many cases upward push up between 4:30-5:20 am. there is exhilaration, for me, in a cup of coffee, a newspaper and a quiet homestead! through fact the mummy of bouncing boys...i somewhat delight in a solitary dawn!

try to do meditation and yoga that will reveal you from sleeping problems.
Or Otherwise try to have a little bit long walk and take a bath at evening after coming from work it will help u to get sleepy earlier at bed.And you will be fresh next morning.
