Are you going to take me out tonight then?
Because I would like to see people and I want to see lights
Driving in your car, I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one, anymore
I have to add though...
If a double decker bus crashes into us
To die by your side, well the pleasure, the privilege is mine

We have lights that never go out in our house and the bill to prove it. We keep at least one night light on so that is it.
I suppose in nature the sun is always up. I guess that one does not cost us.

There is in my house. The bills are though the roof.
Must be a good light bulb too.

That light is the sun. We pay the bill by virtue of its enviromental effects through damage to the ozone layer and ofcourse its health effects e.g skin cancer.

Take me anywhere, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care....
And in the darkened underpass
I thought oh god my chance has come at last
But then a strange fear gripped me and I just couldn't ask....
The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths
But don't worry because Nelly Furtado will "turn off the light"

It's a solar powered light - it pays for itself. Morrissey bought it to light up the darkened under-pass he mentions in the song.

The poor sad, deluded people who now or have ever purchased an official Smiths recording are the one's who have paid.
As Bart once said "Depressing teenagers is like shooting fish into a barrel."
Give me the chance and I'll show the arrogant f*ckwit how to plant daffodils!
