i caught my boyfriend in a lie. not a huge one or anything, but still.
I asked him to please tell me the truth, he said he was. I KNOW HE WASNT!!
So, the question would be...hmm.. What would u do? If you found out your boyfriend lied to you, and you asked him to swear he was telling the truth, he said he was, but you know he wasnt. I feel betrayed.. you know? HELP!?

Let go of that incident, dear! There will always be a lie or two in every relationship. Now that you've been such a control freak and demanded for the truth, would it guarantee that your boyfriend won't ever lie again? No! In fact, he'll get more tensed up than ever to speak or share information with you because you jumped on him once before.
Just tell him calmly that you've been hurt that he lied to you, but he means so much to you that you are willing to forgive him. Just remind him that everytime he lies, you are hurting.

It is a betrayal. It is important for a healthy relationship to be based on trust. If he has lied to you and insists that he is being honest, how will you be able to trust him in the future with more important things? It is painful to discover that someone that you care about has lied to you. You have my sympathy. I'd advise you to test him and see if he'll be honest in another situation. But it seems like he has a different attitude about trust than you do and that isn't good.

if he swear he wasn't lieing and he lied in that the he wasn't lieing from the begining ... it solved
