I support him although I don't always agree, He is the leader of the world's greatest country

Actually, yes, I consider myself to be conservative and I don't believe that George has done the best of jobs. Some of his doing and some not. Incidently, I was a registered Democrat when I voted in the 2004 general election for a Republican candidate. I believed it was the right thing to do.

In saying that, going back in time, I would STILL not support John Kerry under any circumstances. AND I will never support Hillary.

Anyone who truly wants what is best for the US and wants a leader with integrity would never support either of these people.

For goodness sakes, looking beyond the obvious with Hillary, John Foster and Whitewater, the fact that she and her husband got caught trying to take national treasures from the White House upon departure, should tell you something about her character.

I say before anybody supports ANY candidate they should study the website listed below.

There are LOTS of conservatives who are fed up with Bush.

His spending is anything but conservative, the Iraq war has been a mess (most think he made the correct decision in going, but has utterly mismanaged it), there's a split within the party on stem cell research, and most conservatives don't like his position on illegal immigration. As of today is approval rating is 39%, with 55% disapproving. Up a few points from the all-time lows of a couple of months ago, but still pretty awful.

The question is whether they're angry enough to vote democratic.

Why yes. The bat$hit crazy religious side of the Republican party is disappointed because he has failed to act as a Fundamentalist Pope. The Moderate wing of the Republican party which has always included his own father is upset with him because of his deficit spending, and his overreaching imperial ambitions.
They are afraid they are going to get their a$$ handed to them in a sack and lose the house and the senate come November.
It is my fondest hope that this be true.

I have no answer as I'm not american. But I have to say that you always point out good points Mark, and that is regardless of my reply to your brainstorming questions and whether my replies seem supportive of yours or not.

Look at C-Man reply to know what I mean.

Most people support him, not just conservatives.
Don't let the few loud mouth Bush Haters fool you.
There's not many of them. Just some spoiled welfare brats, who think they'd get bigger welfare checks under Democrats.
