That's an interesting question I must say. A good lawyer is one who can proof a lie is the mere truth and one who can turn truth into a best lie. In short, what really makes a good lawyer is one who will win your case with the best deal.

Good aspects to planets in Sag, or planets in the 9th. Jupiter or Mercury or Venus in the tenth with good aspects. Planets in the seventh or in Libra. or aspecting the ruler. Aspects to the midheaven. Depends what kind of law. Family law you would want a moon or Cancer connection. There's lots of variables. Criminal law you would want Pluto, Scorpio, 8th house tie-ins, aspecting Jupiter, or Mercury, or Venus or the ruler of your 9th and 10th. Like I said, lot's of variables. You need to look at the entire chart. Plus you need to consider the 2nd, 6th houses as well. If you're going to have a home office, you also have tolook at the 4th.
