it is not about girls or boys, different people have different attitude and personality. girls are more emotional, so probably, they are more sensitive to issues. but i have seen guys who are equally if not more considerate. it's about finding the right friend, doesn't matter if it is girl or a boy.

Gender does not matter when it comes to friendship. I have great girl friends and great guy friends. I think sometimes people blur the lines between platonic friends and non-platonic friends because of the emotions involved in a strong friendship. But, if you mutually respect each other, this should never be a debilitating issue.
Secondly, ex-girlfriends make awesome friends if you can get over the issues surrounding the break up. The sexual tension is out of the way.

I've had some good guy friends in the past but, the test is when you really go 'off the market'. In other words, get a boyfriend that means something. They seem to disappear rapidly. Maybe, because I don't need their opposite sex opinions and reassurance as much, or maybe because they were just kinda being my friend for other reasons. Whatever it was, I'd still like to talk to them if I bumped into them. Girls and guys can be good friends, and they should be able to. I was a good friend to them, even if I'm not so much anymore.

Yeah ofcourse I am also having many good friends who are boys they all are very cooperative and also funny they never make me feel that I am not ok or what but also sometimes we do have a little of fight but it is resolved by them soon as the boys just say it cool dear its all ok now just forget it what happened.so thats it and after all we all are humans so the nature and the similarity makes two people with each other as FRIENDS.

Honestly, I think there are no pure friendship between different sexes. Subconsciouly, what is the first thing come across in ur mind when you meeting a new friend? you talk to youurself..ok this is potential bf, ok this is only friends coz I have no feel. From there, you build up friendship with those who you filter into the friend catagory.

Of course. It just has to be be understood by both parties initially that it is a friendship and nothing else. Girls/women always have a good insight on things and I wish I had more girl "friends" when I was growing up.

We'll of coarse girls are, a lot of them are bitches, but not all. ^^
Well I do admit girls can be whiney, selfish and inconsiderate towards the male counterpart, but there are some girls that enjoy men's company, Someone who's conservative or just semi conservative, tough but sweet, a bit shy and queit, friendly and some girl who knows how to socialize with boys well.
I'm a girl i hang out with guys often in my classroom
haha 7 boys 20 girls xD

I'm a 16yr old girl and all my best friends are guys. I trust guys more than girls coz they're less likely to gossip, ***** and spread rumours. But then I'm kinda a tom-boy. and I live with my dad and my brother - no female influence!
