I was a waitress for Pizza Hut.....my first paycheck...I used to buy school clothes....UGH!....Mom said if I wanted to the clothes I wanted...I had to pay for them...so I did...

Sports photographer at the age of 12. I don't remember what I bought with the $10, but it sure was nice. My first "real" job was custodian in my father's newspaper business. I was 14 years old. The first major thing I remember buying was a Super 8 movie camera - a "GAF ST-89". It cost about $100. I just saw one at a thrift store that was one model above it for $4.50.

My first job was as a senate page for the Washington State Senate. It was a week job, basically a gopher/assistant to a state senator, really cool insight into the political process! I got $120 for the week(this was in 1994), and I remember that one of the things I bought with my paycheck was a movie....pretty sure it was Wayne's World :)

I distributed the entire pay check between the elders of my family and a small part to the charity the first pay check i did not keep for myself

My first job was a meat wrapper at an A & P in New Jersey. I didn't get to buy anything with my first paycheck, because my mom announced that she was going to charge me rent now that I was working...and she took my WHOLE paycheck. And I was making a whole $1.25 an hour....My second paycheck...I managed to be able to keep the whole thing and went to the bank and opened up an account....my opening deposit? It was a whopping $18.00 dollars! And I worked 5 days for that!

Well, besides babysitting, it was my job at the cookie place in the mall. I'm sure that my first paycheck was spent in the mall too, either on clothes or CD's or jewelry or make-up or Bath & Body Works smelly crap. Let's just say I was a "mall-rat" back in high school.
