Extra-stretch arms and body - usually a brand named fabric - and an appropriate thickness for the season and location. For summer in the Uk I use a 3/4 mm suit. Look for neat stitching and glued or taped seams on the inside - NB do not but a suit that is just stiched as this is a sign of poor quality and the seams will let water in. I would also but gloves and boots if the climate is cool.

It depends what waters you will be diving in...there are different wetsuits designed to withstand different temperatures but
wetsuits are generally made of a thick layer of neoprene that acts as blubber to keep you warm
I would go to the store you are planning on buying from and talk to an emplyee there to figure out the best wetsuit to fulfill your needs

one thats easy to get in and out of. I have wetsuit top and its to small for me so its painfully hard to get off. haha

Make sure you get one that fits tight but not too tight. Make sure water has a way of getting into the wetsuit so it can make you warmer.

It has to be comfortable No1. When you spend several hours in a suit you dont want any chaffing from the internal seams so make sure they are smooth. Also, it needs to be flexible at the joints for movement. For warmth it needs to fit fairly close to you but NOT tight - look for special seals at the wrists and ankles - they stop cold water pouring in.
