If you're talking about that fan thingie that they advertise on TV, it's pretty much worthless.

The comparison testing they show on TV was probably done on a 60 degree day. There's no way possible to cool the inside of a car to 75 degrees on a 100 degree day without running the AC.

I got one for my birthday. I live in Texas, so it seemed like a good idea, with most of the summer days in the high 90's or over 100. Does it "work"? Yes, the little solar-powered fan spins around and there seems to be a little hot air wafting out. BUT the inside of the car is just about the same as it has always been. If there's any cooling effect, it's not more than a degree or two at best. I get better results just leaving windows down an inch and using the reflective windshield shade. Don't waste your money.
