FOR THE DOCTORS: Ive got the yeast infection just two days ago. what do you think would i do best to cure it?

just had one-my dr suggested monistat 3-they prefer to not use the 1 day-if it doesnt clear up in 7 days or you get another one w/in a month-then a bacteria culture can be done

Firstly you need to confirm that it is a yeast infection, that can only be done at a Doctors.

Then if it is you have 2 choices, natural therapy or medical treatments.

Your Dr will be able to help with the medical treatments, but more natural treatments include...

Eating live yogurt
Avoiding hot baths and soaps/cleansers on the affected areas, instead have showers and use lactic acid washes (avail from your pharmacist)

Another tip for prevention is always wipe front to back after going the toilet.

You can also keep getting yeast infections if you don't identify the cause, so if you have a regular sexual partner then they should look at being treated too.

I am not a doctor but I get them enough to know. Here is what I do: I'll wear cotton panties ( hate them but it helps), go without panties at night, and use over the counter monistat cream and it should clear up in a couple of days.
