Yes, there are remote administration programs which not only allow you to see, but even control the remote PC. You can run every PC on the LAN from one PC easily if it's properly configured. The classic program for this that's been around since the Neanderthal daze is Norton PC Anywhere but it seems pretty cumbersome to me and "heavy" code-wise which can slow down the viewing or control.
I like using Remote Administrator, a simpler program. Here's a copy you can download:
http://benas.8k.com/INSTALLS/Remote_admin.zip
When installing, when it asks you if you want to install it "as a service". This is for the PCs to be watched or controlled. These are referred to as "host PCs". Your "master terminal" is the "remote PC" and does not need the service installed.
The tricky part here, as with all remote programs is making sure the router and Windows Firewall are configured to allow access thru the port the software tries to use. For radmin, this is port 4899. In the router configuration screen, specify the IPs for the hosts and this port and allow it, or allow radmin.exe to use this port, depending on the screen. In Windows Firewall, you can "test" by just turning firewall off but to do it right, do:
Run Windows Firewall, select the Advanced tab. Highlight the Local Area Connection and click the Settings button. Click Add button. Use the computer name or IP address and 4899 for both internal and external. Type TCP.
When installing radmin on the master PC, after installing it run the Remote administrator VIEWER program (RED icon, not blue). This allows you to define each of the hosts. All you need to do is create one icon for each "host" PC to be controlled. You just specify the name of the computer or its IP address. With routers, since IP addressing is dynamic it's best to use the PC name (My Computer props. Computer Name tab) 4899 if you didn't change the default port. If you don't like 256 colors (faster but ...), right-click the icon of the host and in props change it to 16 mil. or whatever.
When "looking at" each PC, open the icon by right-click and selecting view only, otherwise your end-user will find your mouse movements reflecting on their screen. The default action for double-click of a host icon is defined in the (main menu) Mode pulldown. If you set it to full control then that's just what you'll do to the user's PC.
