Well, karate is very good for you and can help you out a lot and keep you fit, but if he forces you to do it and you really don't want to, tell him straight up how you feel.

You have to discuss it with your father! He may have not understand you do not like karate! You can suggest him another sport that you really like!

do not stop him, tell him what you want to do decide on what you like and tell him that instead of taking karate you what something that you like to do. it takes courage but trust me at least you will not have to suffer by doing something that is totally not your thing

Try to explain your father what you're thinking. You have to talk with him and make him understand. But meanwhile, think at another sport that you would like to do. In this case he will agree and understand you.
