You should have asked yourself this question years ago before you had two children.

You have been with him since you were 14 years old?

If he hasn't changed in 15 years do you really think he is going to be different over the next 15?

You need to consider your children then make your choice.

My thinking is you should have dumped him 14 years ago.

Are you serious? What hospital do you work in? You can't even spell. The only thing I got out of your message is that you want to dump him. You have the kids; you have the degree; I assume you have a job. If so, take the kids and move out. The hospital you work in will provide daycare. Get out and get on with your life.

15 years seems like plenty of time. Tell him you have had enough of the s**t and you want him to move out. Tell him that you will take him back if he gets his s**t together but if he hasn't in 15 years he probably won't anytime soon. I don't know how this guy will react so before you make that move set up a secondary plan, so if he goes nuts you have somewhere you can go, so you and your kids are safe.

Do you want to throw away 15 years with the father of your children? If you do, then just throw him out and don't let him come back. Be fair and tell him that you are tired of pulling all the weight around the house and him not contributing in any way. You might want to seek some legal cousel.

I would have thought it wouldn't have taken 15 years and 2 kids to realize it.

If you feel the need to ask that question, that means you are no longer interested in the fate of this relationship. Grow a set and just tell him.
