My question would be why you feel that you need to?
There is nothing wrong with pleasuring yourself, the only problem arises when it starts to interfere with your daily life.
Some people have a naturally higher sex-drive than other people do, and also it's natural to want to do it more often when you first start because orgasms feel great!
If you want to stop for religious reasons then maybe seek some advice from one of your religious peers, or maybe a website dedicated to those kinds of questions.
I hope this helps, in my opinion no-one is any less of a person because the masturbate, it's natural and I think it's healthy.
