I start with The Wall, Dark side of the moon, but now I think the best songs(they are strange but good, that is real Pink Floyd) are from Ummagumma album CD2(or 1) songs like Echoes... And you must see Pink Floyd live in Pompeii.

The best one's are:

One of These Days
Echoes
Time
Money
Us and Them
Have a Cigar
Wish You Were Here
Comfortably Numb
Run Like Hell

Keep in mind while listening that although they have a "trippy" sound and write about mental illness, that they came together during the sixties' psychedelic era. A former band member, Syd Barrett, died very recently. Many of their lyrics pay tribute to him as he befell schizophrenia and suffered from his drug abuse. Most notably in the "Wish You Were Here" album. Their songs in the two latest albums are for an "older" crowd and are easier in nature.

One other note pertains to "The Wall" album. Many people think that it is somehow in support of the Nazi's and the Holocaust when in fact it is actually about their opposition to it. The lead singer at the time, Roger Waters, lost his father to fighting in WW2 when he was 9. His anguish, and feelings about the Nazi agenda can be read into the lyrics.

I also like Pink Floyd. Of course you don't hear much from them anymore. Their biggest selling album was "The Wall", but they have had several others do very well also. "The Dark Side of the Moon" was good, as was "Pulse". You can also get DVDs of them in concert. Not as good as actually going to the concert of course, but still good.
