Let's think ourselves lucky that we don't live there then! This is info from 2000:
Population: 23,317,560
Estimates for this country explicitly take into account the effects of excess mortality due to AIDS; this can result in lower life expectancy, higher infant mortality and death rates, lower population and growth rates, and changes in the distribution of population by age and sex than would otherwise be expected (July 2000 est.)
Ethnic groups: Baganda 17%, Karamojong 12%, Basogo 8%, Iteso 8%, Langi 6%, Rwanda 6%, Bagisu 5%, Acholi 4%, Lugbara 4%, Bunyoro 3%, Batobo 3%, non-African (European, Asian, Arab) 1%, other 23%
Religions: Roman Catholic 33%, Protestant 33%, Muslim 16%, indigenous beliefs 18%
Languages: English (official national language, taught in grade schools, used in courts of law and by most newspapers and some radio broadcasts), Ganda or Luganda (most widely used of the Niger-Congo languages, preferred for native language publications in the capital and may be taught in school), other Niger-Congo languages, Nilo-Saharan languages, Swahili, Arabic

Not sure, I know a guy who is from there and I forgot to ask, next time I will ask, and if he was the last one out did he turn the lights off, because if their was a power cut its hard to be sure.
I'm glad people like you are sending in questions, I would be worried by the thought of you being out in he real world.

Actually Uganda is a totally fake country and doesn't really exist. The CIA hires people to pretend to be Ugandans, and if anyone actually wants to travel there they take them to Cleveland and tell them it's Uganda.

Why are you asking this? If they have electricity at all, odds are really really really really really really really good people live there. Heck, just having a country makes for really really really really really really really good odds. Please open your eyes to the wider world.
