My gf have had an abortion for her health reasons on 20 of july and about 3 weeks after that we had unprotected sex, am sure i didnt ejaculated inside her. The doctor said, the day when the pregnancy ended could count has a day of her periode. Then its almost a month and 10 days now, she hasnt got her periode yet. And about a week ago we did a deep stick pregnancy test and the result is Negative, and the period hasnt come yet, again we did a test and its come Negative about 3 days ago.

My question is, how long its usually to expect the next period after an abortion? do you think that she could get pregnant by our unprotected sex without ejaculated inside her? How accurate a home pergancy test is?

From my understanding, the female menstrual cycle is very erratic after an abortion. Stop having unprotected sex!

First of all I don't think you are very smart because if you were you would use PROTECTION! I also know that even just the pre-ejaculate can get her pregnant. It also sometimes takes up to six weeks of pregnancy for the home pregnancy test to show up. She also could have an abnormal period for the first couple of months after her abortion, so she may actually start at a different time. If you are that concerned go and have a blood test done at the doctor.

Even if you didn't ejaculate inside her, you still can have put sperm inside her. Your pre-ejaculate can contain sperm. So pulling out is not a good method of birth control. If she has health problems and can't use the pill, PLEASE consider using condoms. Abortions are hard on the body and the mind. It is something she'll always carry with her.

She can become pregnant relatively quickly after an abortion, even if she hasn't started menstruating regularly yet. As for when menstruation will begin after an abortion, it's really an individual thing.

Home pregnancy tests are usually pretty accurate, but they won't tell you anything till after she's missed a period. And if she hasn't started her periods since the abortion, it'll be hard to tell without a blood test.

First of all, you have preejaculate that has sperm in it that is expelled during sex. It is foolish to have unprotected sex. "Pulling out" is not an option. You need to wear a condom and she needs to use a form of birth control as well or she will be getting abortions all the time because of unwanted pregnancies. Why not be smart about this and use 2 forms of protection. If you had sex 3 weeks after the abortion, there is a good chance that she was ovulating. The test may not be showing positive yet because her HCG (pregnancy hormones) arent high enough yet. You should really stop having unprotected sex.

Yes you can get her pregnant even with out ejaculating in her. You have pre-ejaculation that is also full of your swimmers (you know that little bit that comes out during the time of sexual activity.)

I read that you should have a period 4-6 weeks after an abortion.
I also read that it is VERY important to have a check up with your doctor 2 weeks after the bortion, did she do this? If not I would have this done ASAP. I would give it one more week and take another test and if it comes out negitive go to the doctor.

But please start using condoms or tell her to get on Birth Control if she is gonna have health issues carrying a baby. Other wise its just going to be abortion after abortion and it will screw up her whole body.

If she thinks she might be pregnany, she needs to see a doctor to get confirmation....then she needs to get some birth control pills. Abortion should never be used as a means of birth control.

my neighbor had one and she said she didnt get her period for awhile after. my advice would be to go to the doctor. i am sure there is a plannned parenthood some where close to you and they will also give her birth control. it goes based on your income i think. or if you have none then there is no payment.
