Well lets see if I can shed some light on this without all the ridiculous claims. First Freemasons are a fraternity "men only" There is also a female version called the Eastern Star. They have three appendent bodies the York Rite Scottish Rite and Shriners. Masons raise money for charity providing millions of dollars a day to various charities and it costs about 8 million a day to run a Shriners hospital where a child is treated at no charge. A society of secrets rather than a secret society all our rituals are plastered all over the Internet. But our grips, keys, and tokens are kept as secret as possible in the information age. I challange any one of these people that have made these incredable claims about the Masons to do as much charity work as a Mason does. Lastly the person that said Albert Pike said we are Satanists need to realize he has no Idea what hes reading but its more likely he didn't read Morals and Dogma! Another words dont belive all you read on the internet!

An order with secret rites, grotesque ceremonies and fantastic costumes, which, originating in the reign of Charles II, among working artisans of London, has been joined successively by the dead of past centuries in unbroken retrogression until now it embraces all the generations of man on the hither side of Adam and is drumming up distinguished recruits among the pre-Creational inhabitants of Chaos and Formless Void. The order was founded at different times by Charlemagne, Julius Caesar, Cyrus, Solomon, Zoroaster, Confucious, Thothmes, and Buddha. Its emblems and symbols have been found in the Catacombs of Paris and Rome, on the stones of the Parthenon and the Chinese Great Wall, among the temples of Karnak and Palmyra and in the Egyptian Pyramids -- always by a Freemason

The mission of Freemasonry is to promote a way of life that binds like minded men into a worldwide Brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth: and, by the outward expression of these, through its fellowship, its compassion and its concern, to find ways in which each may serve his God, his family, his country, his neighbors and himself."

Me 'helping' you do your homework isn't really going to help you in the long run. I'm going to be more than a friend and tell you that your smart enough to figure it out (look it up).
