That's where the conscious and subconscious mind separates.
Our internal organs doesn't need our conscious mind to function but others need our consciousness to properly function. And that is where our dreams belong... in subconsciousness.

It is said that five minutes after the end of a dream, we have forgotten 50 percent of the dream's content. Ten minutes later, we've forgotten 90 percent of its content. Why is that? We don't forget our daily actions that quickly. The fact that they are so hard to remember makes their importance seem less.

Freud theorized that we forget our dreams because they contain our repressed thoughts and wishes and so we shouldn't want to remember them anyway. Other research points to the simple reason that other things get in the way. We are forward-thinking by nature, so remembering something when we first wake up is difficult.

I think you are in the wrong notion that we forget our dreams. We don't forget those dreams. Actually the dreams are our imaginations in which sometimes our intuition takes part. When this happes, our dreams become a sign of an event in our future. The dreams remains/takes place in the left part of our brain. And you must be knowing that the anything which is done/taken by our left brain, remains in our mind for ever. The dreams remain in the core of the left part of brain, so it becomes very dificult on part of our brain to recall the dream. And i wanna tell you one thing, "OUR BRAIN IS NOT DESIGNED TO WIPE OUT SOMETHING, IT CAN ONLY REPLACE ONE IDEA ON ANOTHER".
NOTE: the ideas must be co-related in some way.
And i know one way to recover your own dream. Its hypnotism. After you become a master in hypnotism, hypnotise yourself and try to recall the dreams when you were a baby. See it works..
Moreover, you can use your intution to tell you the future. Buy some books like INTUTION LIVING, etc. to learn how to use your intution when YOU like. Intutions help unknowingly but when master the book i mentioned, you help yourself by the help of intution.
