Wear a Boca shirt around River Plate fans in Argentina, and I wouldn't be surprised if they ripped u limb from limb
In Glasgow, wearing Rangers in a Celtic stronghold would probably not go down well ..... as would a Newcastle shirt in Sunderland
But what is the biggest rivalry in British footie do u think??
I would say Celtic-Rangers myself

Yes, Liverpool-Everton, that well know intense rivalry ... I think Man Utd Liverpool is 100 times bigger than that one

It depends where you come from but the greatest rivalry is in Glasgow when Rangers take on Celtic. I went to a reserve match at Parkhead but at the Rangers supporters end. There were 8 year old kids giving us verbal so unfortunately the religious bile was there. It is closely followed by Arsenal and Spurs

Its probably Celtic - Rangers, with the size of the two clubs, the religious aspect, and the fact that most matches between the two are key games in terms of trophies etc. And the rivalry dates back over 100 years.
But the Cardiff - Swansea rivalry is also a viscious one.

Got to be the old firm- Rangers-Celtic
In England its no where near as serious. I have lived in Glasgow and Newcastle and there is no way sunder land-Newcastle is anything the same.
I can't speak for most other places round the county though.

are you talking about the players or the fans?
players are no longer playing for a club they grew up with, henry may love ****(nal) but he didnt get bought up with them. so im not sure players really have rivalrys except for international, but they claim that they're all friends.
fans, well modern day is rangers and celtic i'd say. but in the less pc times i'd say all football rivalries were pretty great, a lot of passion was in it and people fought for their club
