If you just had your period and are not in mid cycle (ovulating) chances are you are not pregnant. I am assuming you are using some form of birth control, yes? However, if you have an actual migraine you should note that they definitely DO cause nausea and vomiting in many cases. Additionally, while you may not have a typical migraine, you can get headaches that feel like migraines. These are those that come about from a sinus infection, and they can also make you feel queasy. As an aside, migraines can come on in with your period, so it could be hormonal.
It could also be a simple virus that has affected you or something you ate. My best advise is to call your doctor and see them.
Feel better!

You could have a stomach virus, but it's not out of the question that you could be pregnant if you have had unprotected sex in the last month. Some women have a light-regular period and are still very much pregnant. This happened to me. Most stomach viruses resolve in a few days. Take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Good Luck!

could be just a stomach virus that you've caught. viruses typically take 10-14 day to run their course and that could be why you still feel sick eventhough a week has gone by...
if you are able to keep things down-eat plain, bland, nonspicy foods. things that are gentle on the stomach-such as soups, salads, breads, rice, crackers, popsicles.
avoid sodas or juice-these have high sugar content and can upset your stomach more and can also dehydrate you in the event that you do start vomiting
carbonation can help settle your stomach but only drink clear sodas such as sprite,7up or ginger ale.
make sure to drink plenty of fluids to help keep your body hydrated and to help flush out the virus....
i would call your doctor if you develop any of the following symptoms
-fever of 101 of higher
-severe vomiting ( if you are suddenly not able to keep anything including water down and this goes on for more than 4 hours-get to an emergency room-this indicated dehydration)
-diarrhea
-persistant headache
if you begin to feel faint or dizzy, call 911 or have someone take you to the hospital
chances are you just caught a bug and it will take time for it to work it's way out of your system

Maybe hyperacidity. Consult with a physician but avoid sodas/soft drinks, avoid fatty foods, avoid skipping meals- eat at least every four hours- biscuits without much salt will be very beneficial. Do not wait for your stomach to hurt before you eat. No liquor or carbonated drinks. -yunesa@yahoo.com

i just found out that having a period in the first trimester is normal so don't rule it out .you can also have a uti because that can cause you to have the same feeling . just go to your doctor to make sure. and if you are pregnant then tell him or her that you don't have a clue when you got prenant because you have been having a normal period so that they can give you an ultrasound to make sure that everything with the baby is all right.

Not too strange, I get that way sometimes before and after my period, especially if my nerves are shot. I would just get a preg. test to be sure in a couple weeks if still bothering you schedule appointment with DR.

i feel like this before and after my period. I think its to do with your hormones constantly changing. You may have a hormone imbalance so you could try to get the doctor to run some blood tests.
