Consider using the dryer sheets instead. They are easier because you just put them in with the load, you don't have to worry about adding them at the rinse cycle, etc.
And, ignore the silly comments a few folks are making--you are smart to double check what works best--it can get confusing.

Fabric softener goes in the rinse cycle. Pour it in the water, not on the clothes. It could cause stains. If still confused, use dryer sheets. Don't worry about softener, put clothes in dryer and throw in a sheet or 2.

easiest ways...get a downy ball. fill it to the fill line, shut the top and throw it in at the beginning of the wash. ----if your machine has a cup looking thing at the top of the agitator, put your measured amount in to the softener line and add water to the top fill line(you can do this at the beginning of your wash cycle. ----if you don't get a downy ball or the cup at the top, wait for the rinse cycle. when the machine has filled again, put the measured amount of softener directly in the water, but not directly on top of a clothing item.---even easier way, use fabric softener sheets. just throw one sheet in the dryer before you dry your clothes. easy as pie!

open the lid on the machine and you will see a hole in the center of the washer that is where you put the softener during the rinse cycle if it is the liquid the sheets go in the drier with the cloths

Ahh, this got here approximately to me till now, different than my chum did an ash colour and my hair grew to become multi colorings alongside with green.. basically in time for my marvel grad party... lol Wait some days till now putting extra colour into it so your hair doesnt cut up. call your hair cloth wardrobe and ask her if a toner is something she would be in a position to put in. this might tone down the yellow hue making it extra organic looking. solid good fortune!!!
