The (visible) universe is said to be about 14 billion lightyears (in each direction !! ) That makes 28 from one end to another. So ... one lightyear is 9,450,000,000,000,000,000 meters, so just multiply it with 28 and the result with 3, because one meter is 3 feet. Then you know how many feet the (visible) universe is in diameter: It's about 795,000,000,000,000,000,000 feet.
Hahahaha, funny question

the known universe is much bigger than that 795 whatever guess. Our galaxy is 100,000 light years across. There are 5,878,482,164,161 miles in a ONE light year. So 100,000 times 6 trillion, our galaxy is somewhere in the 600 trillion MILES across range...so 600 trillion times 5,280(feet in a mile) would be a very rough guess of our galaxy measured in feet. Now considering there are thought to be WELL over 500 billion galaxies in the universe...I think it would be safe to say that the universe would be an infinite number in light years(not feet) if possible to measure.
Oh and jhstha you multiplied by 28 instead of 28 billion...haha

I can't asnwer your question because the universe is octagon in shape. So, no diameter. :)
