Place a sheet of brown paper over the wax and then use a fairly hot iron on the paper. This should lift the wax from your jeans.

Alternatively, add a wick and use them for parties instead of a cake!!

Get yourself some plain paper (brown paper bag type papers the best stuff but you can use normal white paper if you've nothing else).

Place over wax and iron over the top. Replace paper as needed.

Repeat until no more wax is absorbed into the paper.

However odd this might sound, it actually works. Put your jeans in the freezer overnight, or until wax hardens depending on how much wax there is. Be sure that it is completly hardened. It should be really easy to just peel off after that.

Use a hairdryer from the other side to remove the bulk of it, and then use a wax stain devil (there is one for Tar/Wax/Paint, but I forget which number) you can get from supermarkets or chemists and some hardware stores. That will shift it.
