In modern warfare, champion first by General Sherman, you attack in a scorched earth manner. If you can get the enemy's economy into a total shambles, you can win a little more easily. Also, terror is an effective weapon on both sides. If Hezballah targets civilians to generate terror and chaos, so must the israelis. If we are truly fighting a war on Terror, why doesn't the US knock both the lebonese and the israelis head's together, and double slap them across their faces. (I think George Dubya looks a little like Moe to tell the truth.
A more important question is "How can two religions that claim to believe in an omnipotent, omnipresent diety, fight and die over a piece of dirt, claiming it is somehow "More Holy" than any spot of dirt on earth.
