Ladies do you notice a different kind of smell down there after you've just had sex. I mean like right after?
Me and my hubby are planning on getting pregnant again, so needless to say we dont use protection. I notice that everytime after we have sex and he climaxes inside, I smell a little "fishy" down there.
I've been to the GYN, and I'm negative for all std's and bacterial infections.
Have any of you ever experienced this? What causes it? I've been to the GYN about this numerous times, all they tell me is that everything is healthy. But I know my own scent and that definitely aint it.

Actually several other people are right. Mens sperm and ejacualtion smell and taste like whatever they eat. For example, if your spouse is mexican then his sperm would be spice. Like peppers. That is just how it is. Hope this helps. P.S. if you tested negative for STD's he will to.

They say if you eat yogurt....something about the emzymes helps. I know when I had the "smell" they told me to use all the over the counter creams and nothing lasted. Then I had a root canal and had to take antibiodics. The first ones didn't help much, so they switched to another and boy let me tell you what, it cleared up more than the absess tooth. I haven't had that "smell" since. If I ever get it again, I'm going to the Dentist. lol
But if it's not "you" and it's "him" Maybe he needs some antibiodics. Has he ever been to the Dr and checked?

two peoples bodily fluid mixing will change your natural smell quit freaking its the smell of the two of you together. the downside is the two of yall dont make a nice scent.....but you can get over this or you'll have to go find someone else.. ....and the later sounds like a stupid thing to do because you can wipe off right after sex or shower and your good to go. but dont listen to the folks on here you should only douche once a month your body has its own checks and balances and you dont want to throw these off!! just relax and enjoy your man

it's the result of your love juices mixing together, having something inside of you that doesn't belong to your body. it's normal unless it persists then it could mean that you need to get tested, but you already had so don't worry, and don't douche! as that's the fastest way for you to get an infection, our bodies have their own natural way of cleansing by means of secretions and when you douche you also get rid of good bacteria which is necessary to maintain a good pH balance in your vagina, another bad thing about douching (unless Dr. has reasons to prescribe you one) is how dry you'll be after, it's a recipe for disaster, don't do it . a warm bath is better. also be careful of the soaps you use, get one to use only for your best friend: your vagina, Eve is a good one, the key is that it must be pH neutral, or you could cause an irritation and later bad smell. Your scent and his mingle and both of you will bear a different smell than you did before you had sex. If your GYN said everything checked out ok, then stay with your regular check ups and try not to stress. Stress will make it more difficult for you two to conceive. Good luck!

Its probably your partner. Ive had that experience. I knew it wasnt Me because I hadn't had sex in like a year and a half. I didnt have any kind of scent at all, no odor no discharge-nothing.
After having sex with this person, I had an odor that wouldnt go away till I douched, and it still lingered a little after that. I was like Damn. because I didnt smell him before we were intimate. And it was deffinately HIS smell.
He wasnt Circumcised though and I figured, maybe he didnt clean well under the skin or something.

have you ever noticed that sex has a certain smell? When your done and if you smell different go to the bathroom wipe down with a warm damp rag and take a shower in the morning. It will make you feel better. and douche once a month and you'll be set

There is no reason for anyone to be offended. I have always just called it the scent of sex. It is just the mingling of the two fluids. It happens to me to.

why do u smell it?? and tell me since how long ur trial of child is going futile?? if it is a long time, then it would be a problem.
If it is only the stinky smell and sperm count of ur hus is alright and ur ovary is in perfect condition, u need not bother about ur smell.
