Best album is The Best 80's Album In The World...Ever! It was first released in 1995, I've owned a copy since then! Best thing anyway you can do is have a rummage round boot sales, charity shops and jumble sales and blag yourself some originals on vinyl, thats what I have done, and over a period I have probably the best selection of 70's/80's music you could ever wish to find! I bought a CD recorder and put some compilations together on CD for myself direct from my record player. I'm glad you like the music, it is so much better than the crap they churn out now, there again, the 80's was a better time to live in!

the best 80's compilation is a double CD called "Lost Property". It cuts out all the crap from then(and there was a lot of that) and gives you forty songs that defined everything that was good about 80's music.

I have the compilation of the Guitar Rock CDs....there are several of them. You can find them at timelifemusic.com & probably could find them cheaper at Amazon.com (Guitar Rock 1970-1990s).
They have songs by various artists such as: Foreigner, Boston, Ted Nugent, ELO, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Alice Cooper, Grand Funk Railroad, Black Sabbath, The Cars, REO, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Rush, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, etc.
