I will have a large amount of 12 volt electricity to run black lights or whatever. Considering intial cost and what the plants like best what gets the job done most effeciently. I can use an inverter to go to reg house curent.

if your going to grow plants when us the hot house lights and you can find them at the feed store and if your going the veg plants your still better off with the hot house lights same place.
this will depend on what and where you live and all that stuff.
your feed store will help you better with this to,or your hard wear store

Where are you going to get this "Large amount of 12V dc" because if you are going to use mercury vapor (for the UV spectrum(all grow lights)) lights you are going to be dealing with a high current load and lots of heat.
