The feeling that you have done this thing before or been to a place before although seriously, this is the first time you are doing it.
It happens frequently when one is travelling or having an unique encounter. It is often explained by reincarnation where you may have been in that place in your previous life and is locked in your inner sub-consciousness.

Deja vu (french for already seen) is the feeling that you have witnessed a new situation before. Like when you are walking down a street you have never been on and you feel like you have been on that street some time before...the feeling almost superimposes itself over the reality of walking down the street. It is almost eerie, this bizarre and unexplained familiarity. Perhaps you had a dream about it or were there in another lifetime... Deja vu is very common. Lots of people experience it.

It's when you experience something and you feel as though you've been in the same situation before. Almost like you know what's going to happen or what someones going to say.

Most commonly - it is when you have an incredibly strong feeling that you have done something or been somewhere before. Although you never have.
I went to Canada and had this experience and it is truly a strange feeling.

That thing that happens when you realize something that is happening at the current moment seems to be rolling into familiar place....
