First of all I thanked God for the victory. Trust me I was praying for pretty much the whole game. I jumped up and down with my kids. We went out onto my parents porch (we watched the game at their house). My older two kids waved their flags and we were all screaming. My parents live close to an Italian club so all the people were coming out screaming and cheering. We were all headed for Via Italia in our city. I have to admit I did shed a couple of tears. It felt so good to win. I felt and still feel so proud to be Italian. It was fun. I have to admit though, I was annoyed with the bandwagon fans. oh well it was a hoot.

Wow, where do you live? If it wasn't an Italian community, people might have been wondering what you were up to... haha.
I didn't really do much, just hugged everyone I saw, and went to my computer to tell everyone how I was right about Italy winning; the people on my contact list are either French fans or neutral.

We screamed, I waved the flag in a restaurant and almost took out a few people, then we poured into College St. in Toronto and had a great time

Thanked God, was praying throughout the duel, but when it was oer I went crazy, danced around my Italy-hater friends, hooked up with my fellow fans and went a drinking.
It felt good, considering the fact that Italy hadn't won a penalty shoot-out of late.

I walked in the streets filled with celebrating supporters with my wife and the kids, hailing, shouting, and singing po-po-po... with all people. Town center was so crowded to force me to return home. Kids are too young to stay in such a crowd (and it could rain dishes ;-), but they enjoyed a lot what was going on.
