I recently bought an unlocked motorola sliver phone and put my t-mobile sim card into it. It is working fine except for the failed internet access. I keep getting an error message telling me "GPRS not available" and it will not let me log on.

Also I am not able to send or receive picture messages. Does anyone know why i keep getting these error screens and what can i do to make it work?

You need T Mobile's wap (internet) settings and text and mms settings. Though the phone is unlocked to use on T Mobile's network, the settings for all these functions are preset to Cingular.

Your recommendations are - Ditch the telephone and purchase something from the twenty first century. let us know a style of telephone, silver Motorola does not provide me plenty to flow on. Do Cingular do the comparable handset? if so scroll in the process the settings and replace your T-cellular handset with the Cingular settings. it truly isn't any ask your self the iPhone went down so properly over there, telephones are lacking in style and contours, I certainly have basically been on the Cingular website and that they are flogging Motorola V3's for around £a hundred twenty five ($249). What a shaggy dog tale - they did no longer fee that right here 3 years in the past while they got here out and persons are lapping them up in u . s . of america! heavily while you're ever in Europe wander right into a telephone save and notice how a procedures at the back of you're over there!

Go to http://tmobileuk.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst, first click the internet option and fill it out and then do the mms option. You should get messages through to your phone and then you just follow there instructions on how to save them.
