Computer Help Required?

Question 1:
Is there a software to lock my computer while i am not using it but i am downloading a file. i tried stand by and hibernate but that didnt work.

Question 2:
what is screen sever password and how can i do it?

To lock the computer or work station

- Press the WinKey and letter “L” (WinKey + L)
- This will lock the computer but will not affect any file downloading or any process

Screen saver password
---------------------------
This is the password that you can apply for the screensaver. When you get out of your computer, the screen saver will stat running after a particular time. But any one can tap a key in the keyboard and see what you were doing in the computer as the screen saver stop running. But if you have a password for the screen saver, it’ll ask for the password before stopping the screen saver.

Well answer to question 2 will solve question 1 also

Right click on you desktop and choose properties, this opens a Display Properties, click on the Screen saver, there there is a check box "on resume, password protect" check this and in the Wait box, give some time, this will lock your computer after some time, but your downloading will continue, hope this helps

screensaver that is password protected may help you...
downloading continuios even screen savers, appears...
also lower down the minutes in which the screensaver appears, the default is 10 mins... make 5 or what you desired... to unlock the screensaver just press any on your keyboard and then enter your password....

hi, there are many site with virus that can hack your IE browser. i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
