i am gobsmacked as to how the political correctness bandwagon has hit cricket over this incident.
from what i can gain from peoples names, a lot of the people slating hair are of a south asian descent, which puts you in a huge bias of a position. of course you're going to acuse hair of being a racist, but then again, if you were thrown out of a pub or club for what is a fairly legit reason, a lot of you would acuse the bouncer of being a racist.

he may have made some dodgy calls in his time and i dont think that it is fair to call him a racist because he has done his job as he belives is right.
the verdict on Muttiah Muralitharan's action was that it is legal, but only because he cannot straighten his arm due to a biological defect. and anyway hair wasn't the only one who called him no-ball for throwing.

personally, i think that the situation recently has been turned around by pakistan to make them look innocent after the s*it hit the fan and the match was given forfeit to england. there is no way that an experienced captain like inzy should have protested like that, so they brought it on themselves from a test match that they were going to thrash england in.

Inzy have been given cleared because of the fact ICC is a coward physique, very afraid to stand the hue and cry. The 4 journey ban grow to be for "taking the interest to disrepute" by utilising forfeiting the journey, as though in any different case they have been a sparkling lot. it is a physique packed with hypocrites. So Hair had to be a scape-goat. no longer that it concerns. he's no longer a push over. he's a radical expert and is hardship-free with of that he's right. If he's asked to give up for incorrect motives, ICC has to cough up the value asked by utilising him. So he remains, no longer for the champions trophy nonetheless. Its a political interest toddler---not greater gents are in touch!

my answer may hurt few people, but the truth is darrell hair hates all the brown and dark skinned players. from the ball throwing controversy of murali to the present ball tampering of pakistan, darrell hair has always tried to target the dark skinned such as sri lanka, pakistan, india, and eventually bangladesh one day.

the thing is that hair knows he is not that famous such as dickie bird, david shepherd or steve bucknor, so he might be thinking if he can't be famous by doing any good, then why don't he do something stupid to raise to fame in days. its like osama being famous days after the 9/11 incident. all that hair says in the media, is utterly meaningless and the fact by now everyone should know he pretends to be professional umpire but he is a ****.

I do not think so. He has been a good umpire. At a judgement seat you hardly think of hatred or flare. When someone starts doing it, he can no longer deliver. He is in the elite panel of umpires, and that stands as a testimony of his stature and calibre. He is egoistic but that can not be categorised as "Hatred".

i dont think so. i think its sheer coinidence that he has been in controversies involving asians. otherwise he is a good umpire who was in the elite panel of the icc. only time will tell if he'll be staying as an umpire or not.
