Friendship is when you enjoy someone's company and talking with them. Love is when she takes your breath away, you can't stop looking into her eyes, and if your away for more than an hour you miss her.

Love is partners for life without caring about joy and sorrow.
Basically Love is much more evolved state of friendship.
