How do you celebrate your birthday? How do you treat yourself? I am NOT talking about gifts that involve others, but your own treat to yourself...ideas?

Thanks everyone for your best wishes. I do have family/friends to share it with. But I wanted an alone time to myself just to "be"...ya' know. Thanks for the ideas!!

Usually on the birthday, I want to be with friends, listen to my favourite music, have dinner together, share eachothers love stories, remember some ...old sweeties....and just be together. Sometimes we share some poems too.
If I'm all alone, I'll go out, eat my favourite food, may be write a page or two in my diary, will relax. (Once I gifted my self with a bike...the next year I'm planning to gift myself a car!).

On my birthday, I don't work. That's the mainthing. At exactly 5:10 pm I stop doing whatever I'm doing and start screaming out loud for a short time (it was the first thing I did when I was born). Than I open a bottle of wine or champagne and enjoy it with my girlfriend of my best friend.
This year, I made a tattoo, last year I went to spain, two years ago I went to Hungary. Once I booked a junior suite in a five star hotel.. Well there's always been something extravagant but I've never missed screaming at 5:10 pm... :)

On my birthday, I like ordering everyone to leave me alone. I have a big family, and everyone wants my attention 24\7!
I let them give me a birthday dinner, and the cake. BUT during the day, I send them all away. If I want to take a long bath and stand naked in front of the air conditioner........Damnit..I will do that. It is my day. Once I treated myself to an all-day spa. Then, I came home, cut the cake, and ordered everyone out of the room so I could play my kids X-box! (which was really hard because I had gotten too long nails!)
The point is, you do what you feel you deserve. It is your day!

Nothing. What so special about own birthday? I already used to being alone on birthday. Friends or family either busy or forget about it. The most I will do, is to treat myself a good meal on that day. Anyway, its once in a year.

My b'day just passed recently and I felt like when I woke up it was like Christmas morning even though it was just me alone at home. Just luv on yourself by treating yourself to fun outings like going to the zoo or renting a kayak. A hike is nice too. Hopefully you will have someone seeing to it that you have a nice birthday but if not, then get yourself a cupcake and blow out the candle/candles.

treat yourself to your fave breakfast then go and book a relaxingg resort so you can pamper yourself with spa, suana, body massage, pedicure, manicure and good food with the good restuarant at the resort.. you will come out with glowingg skin :)

If our birthday reaches that means we had been old one year.So we are reaching our death soon.By reaching a birthday it says that the time we have to live is less.By considering this matter it is good to celebrate your birthday.
