I can't say I agree with the magnitude of that precedent. However, I do believe that they are both deadly vices.
A word on porn. I think the legal age of 18 is still to young. And I think that 15 year old models is borderline child pornography. The need to believe that beauty only belongs to the youth has led us down a long dirty road, that causes the abuse of innocence.

I think that is silly...online gambling, if you are single, is a victimless crime. The reason I said single is because if you have no family that is depending on you, who cares if you stupidly blow all your money on bets? Online gambling is just like any other addiction. However, I'm sure that in some circles it does get quite serious and dangerous if you bet large amounts and lose. Then, I think the gov. has it backwards- they shouldn't punish the gambler, but the bookie with hard time. But, overall, gambling is not good for anyone.

Your question sounds a little more than crazy. I don't participate in any online gambling but don't frown on it, I love bingo and slot machines - I'd go crazy in Vegas! To compare that to child molestation is totally innacurate. Don't get me started on that!

I don't think your statement is accurate. You don't see people being hauled out of their homes in handcuffs because they were participating in online gambling. I've seen more than one kiddie porn offender hauled off on TV.

um, yeah im pretty sure its illegal. im doing a research paper on child abuse for my collage essay, and this is one of many topics im going to talk about. it doesn t really matter what state or country you live in, child porn is a huge no no. in the united states, its very much illegal to own, but its also illegal to download and to view. people who make child pornography should be punished by death and people who watch it should have to watch the people who make it be put to death. end of story its illegal and is frowned upon.

online gambling is not illegal as long as you are a certain age. they wouldnt be able to advettise poker wbsites if it were illegal and child pornagraphy is a much bigger crime anyway. my Dad is a cop and i just asked him. thats what he told me. i just asked my mom who was a crime analyst and she said the same thing. so maybe where you live thats the case. but where i live its not like that. if that is a law where you live though i agree with you. that is ridiculous
