Just because my nosy neighbor snuck up on me...and I had to
stop and talk to her.... I didn't even make it to my door !! So then
I felt obligated to ask her in....and I didn't want to eat in front of her.
She NEVER turns down a coke or a twinkie...So, my food got so
freakin cold and crappy,...I was really looking forward to eating my
Mc Donalds too !! SH*T.....Have you had to do that ???......

When I eat, I need peace from other people. I can watch TV or listen to music but once I start eating I dont want to be bothered. Unless Im eating with friends or family I prefer to eat alone. And yes, what you describe has happened to me and it sucks, but I will be rude and say, "well got to go" and just go. Nothing is worse than cold fastfood. All of these people are idiots!

That is too bad. I hate cold McDonalds. Next time tell her that you would love to visit with her but can't do it right then since it is your lunch time. Be brave and bold or she will continue to intrude and take advantage of your kindness. Surely, she could see the McDonalds bag in your hand, plus you can smell McDonalds a mile away.

Please grow up and take care of yourself. Being polite is one but you may expect from your visitor some respect. Eating your hot hamburger in front of her is not a confrontation. You don't have to share the burger with her. Listen to your self and be a bit more selfish!

Your neighbour sounds like a nice person. Next time say "I know you won't mind if I finish my lunch" and eat your hamburger. I can't know, however, whether you needed the nourishment or not.
