With all the talent in the world, why are most featured artist on the airwaves and on MTV lack heart, soul and basic talent?
what happend to good old days when musical talent didn't depend on your looks?

its sad to say but teenagers nowadays care very little about the quality of music they listen to not all teenagers thought but the ones that networks like MTV cater to, have no clue what real music is

"Popular Music" is tis way because the public for the most part lacks any sensibility and just consumes whatever the companies throw out at them.
You can find talent w/out good looks by checking out Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

people started caring abut what looked good, and then it all turned into this "emo"/"screamo" and stereotypical ****. it does suck. i feel sorry for the people in the business today, and everyone else for that matter.

lots of bands suck because we notice them due to their packaging and not their music.
a lot of bands do not suck. however, the ones with better packaging are noticed more.
