What do you mean by Super Power?
If India fulfils the following, it could be a Super Power::-
1. Self sufficency in Agricultural products.
2. Stable employment opportunites.
3. Equal rights to educated youngsters (to go ahead with further continuation...Reservation in education based on castism has to be abolished)
4. Freedom to establish any industry without any red tapism.
5. Politicians should think for India and put their maximum effort to develop it further, instead of swindling the exchequer with their fake development claims.
6. Abolishion of recently emerged political parties. Politicians will be held responsible for certain loss to the nation due to poor planning and execution. A fully empowered independant organisation authorised by the President of India will judge the "the promises versus performance" of every Government!
7. Police - Criminal tie up has to be quashed. To get proper safety & support to any one and every one!.
8. Only having Nuclear Weapons, Space programs, Export of Software will not help India to attain the goal, it has to make lot other reforms and Indians in India & abroad should be ready to make sacrifices for the sake of national development!
9. India urgently needs excellent professionals from all the fields to run the Government and not the farmers & ignorant ones!!!!!

I believe the answer is yes. India's economy continues to grow thanks to globalization as well as the entrepreneurship of the Indian people. Also there is a greater amount of, in population and percentages, Indian college graduates that major in the sciences thereby possibly helping make India a technological leader. To try and keep it short, we know that money equals power. In India's case it could mean consumer power, power to keep more of their talented young people at home instead of going off to other countries for work, negotiating power on the world stage, power to develop and create stronger defenses, etc. Although I believe this, I also believe that it doesn't mean if this comes to pass that it will solve the problem of vast amounts of poverty in the country. So far, the economic boom that has been taking place has only positively affected the middle class and rich for the most part. Being a superpower doesn't mean India will have solved this problem.

Yes, but that is not the question:: why would you want to be is the real question... Greed, Power, Jelousy, lust are all just a bunch of balogna. I would rather the U.S.A. be known as a Christian nation of prayer and power in The Holy Spirit..
