Dont know what the Orange Broadband box is - is it a Wireless ADSL Router? If not it is not going to work.

If it is, plug in Router to phone line and power on. Install USB Wireless Dongle. Scan from PC and hopefully the PC will pick up the Router's signal. If not, I would use a CAT5 cable to hook the PC up to the Router initially, then access the Router from your Web Browser (the Router will have an IP address which you should type into the browser instead of a www address). You will then have to check all the settings - I would initially turn off any WEP security as this can be a bit flaky. Get it all connected wirelessly with basic settings then start messing about with it. Good luck - in my experience wireless is a pain in the a**e and if you can avoid it, I would use CAT5 cable.

Your modem either needs to be wireless or you will need to hook up a wireless router to it!
