In part 3, Doc is sent back to 1885 after being struck by lightning & cannot return as the circuts are damaged caused by the lightning. He buries the Delorian in a cave for Marty to find in 1855 which Marty does find & has it fixed & returns to 1885 to save The Doc from his death. When he gets there the fuel tank is burst by an Indians arrow & he runs out of gas.
Isn't there another Delorian hidden in the mine where he could get more gas?

I think I see your point there. I see there should be duplicate of that Delorian like how Biff meets himself in earlier movie. I don't remember if they ever mention they have 2 or actually one from different times. But I know the one Doc had when he got sent back to 1885 may have not had any gasoline since it was one powered by garbage or something.
'Doc from 1885 drained the gas from the car, knowing that the car would be inactive for a long time (standard procedure for long-term vehicle storage).' I found that on Wikipedia. I also found out ZZ Top performed the music during the dance scene.
'In the novelization (and the earlier drafts of the movie most likely), Marty asks Doc why they cannot dig up the other DeLorean. Doc tells Marty that doing so might disrupt Marty and 1955 Doc from uncovering it in the future.' This more stuff from Wikipedia.

the delorian's reactor was fueled by garbage this powered the time circuits. the actual car was powered by a gasoline engine as doc explained to marty. the car that was currently in the mine was actually out of gas because doc would have used the gas he had left to get the delorian to the mine in the first place.

i see your point but you ment marty wa stuck in 1955 not 1855.... and something else about that movie if doc was killed in 1885 then how come he stil existed in 1955 that is odd....

it's been a long time since i've seen these movies, but do you mean 1985? and 1955? and maybe one of those IS 1885?
