I have the original, busting out and the urbz. all for ps2. Is the Sims 2 good? Any one ever play it on pc? is it better on ps2 or pc?

Sims 2 on the PC flies waaaaaay over PS2.
If you want challenges to do, you can do these with the Sims 2 on PC (or Mac!)

I bought a couple of SIMS games. They were fun for a day or two but then became a burdon. (Every two minutes you got to escort them to to the bathroom.) I haven't played SIMS2 yet. It might be an improvement.
I'm waiting for "Spore". That should be like The Sims times 100!

I LOVE Sims 2. They can reproduce! It's so cool the way you can see the kids grown from babies to adults. Then they have their own kids. It's way cool! I love it!
