short and simple - they either prefer to work at home, or have an office at home, or working with the public. All depends on your chart and aspects. Mercury, you might want to sell real estate. Lots of cancers I know with heavy sun placements run day care centers. I also know of heavy cancer placements who are counselors. Also many are chefs. Whatever it is, they need to work either in a public capacity (preferably with females - Martha Stewart is a good example) , or something connected with home, family or politics. Alot of this "homeland security stuff, people with heavy cancer placements go for. Anything to do with nuturing, protecting, mothering, yada, yada, yada. If you get your chart done it will show you where your best talents lie. Example: You have cancer on the 3rd. Or maybe Mercury is there with good aspects. What do you do? You sell cars! And the reason you sell so many cars and win all the salesmen awards is because you appeal to the women that want the best, safest vehicle to cart their children around in. Or maybe you have Cancer on the 8th, or Moon in the 8th. You sell life insurance to people concerned about their familes. Maybe you have cancer on the 10th, or Venus in cancer there. What do you do? You make a fortune selling cosmetics to older women who want to look younger. Or you own a clothing boutique catering to women older than 40. All depends on your chart. But generally anything having to do with women, home, family, working from the home, real estate, or working the graveyard shift, restaurants, yada, yada.. Cancer has an inborn feeling for what women like, the public wants, and the kind of home they want to do it in. Cancer on the 12th, maybe you do respite care, or work in a nursing home.

Compassionate and perceptive, Crabs do best in nurturing professions. Social work, gardening and child care are all natural fits for this sign. Cancers are natural money-makers and do well as bond traders, bank executives and stock portfolio managers. Members of this sign also work well in human resources, as they are discreet, trustworthy and tactful. Their executive ability is considerable.
