I have the (almost) free 2Wire wireless DSL router that comes with the ATT/SBC Yahoo DSL.

Open the program that came with the router. There should be a security control panel which will let you change whatever you need to. It might ask you your security question. I hope you remember the answer.

You have to do the following:

> Click Start
> Click Control Panel
> Click on Network and Internet connections
> On the network and internet connections window, under "or Pick a control panel icon, click on Network connections
> From the networks shown click on Local area connection
> From the two tabs, click on the Support tab
> Get the IP address shown and type it in the web address bar
> You will have to have wireless router's manual :)

You need to log into the router. Figure out it's address (try IPCONFIG and see what IP address you are, then replace the last portion with 0) the username and password is probably admin/(nothing).

Then set the password..

when accessing the router remember not to put in www

e.g. http://192.168.0.1
