I have a friend, who intentionally bought same necklace as mine to give another person she knows i wouldn't want to have same stuff with. what do u think i should do with the necklace? I love the necklace, bec it fits me so good. and i was thinking of throwing it away, but everytime i looked at it, i still find it beautiful, but i know i cannot keep it bec it makes me mad at my friend and makes me feel gross for having same stuff like that other person.
whats the best thing to do? I am in a dilemma....
I have already confronted my friend and she said it was meant as a joke, but also got angry at me, bec she thinks i am over reacting. but i dont want to have same stuff as that other person.... and thats final.

One of the most important things about life is simply this-we need to learn to get along with each other. That means accepting other people as they are. You make it out to be that the other person is unacceptable to you, but there's no foundation to your dislike. Your friend has a right to give whatever she wanted to the other person., although the meaning of it started out as a (cruel) joke.She is correct that you are over reacting. Just because you like something down;t means that you have sole right to possession to it. You don't. So get over it, dear. Also, I challenge you to find at least five good qualities about this other person that you dislike so much and then act like it's real.

I think you are acting childish. What is wrong with someone else having the same necklace, if you love it keep it and enjoy your find. I think the other person might not wear theirs as much as you. How do you know they like the necklace? Get a grip and forget it, it is nothing to worry about. Grow up, who cares about it, just you making something out of nothing. I would keep it and wear it with joy because you must have good taste for her to buy it. You are a fashion statement. Look at it with happiness.. Zella

well you are over reacting,i mean its only a necklace,u bought it for yourself so wear,it,who cares if someone else has the samething??....i dont think thats the only one necklace that is out there,i think there are more out there that are the same,just forget about the fact that she got the same thing and wear what you got yourself

If you like the necklace, then keep it. Who cares if someone else has it? I believe that it is childish and petty to worry about things like that. And if your friend said it was a joke forget about it. If you are really her friend, then move on.

Who cares if someone else has the same necklace.......by your logic only one of one thing should be sold in a store to prevent someone wearing the same thing as someone else.
