it really should;nt make a different as long as theregood parent antake care of the kids.an love theman respect them.because there were a 3 year old in a foster home in cinn had been missin for 2 week found out they had killed the baby an hid the body in the closet

OK lets clear this one up right away.. shoplifting DOES NOT, I repate DOES NOT keep people from doint Foster care,unless it was a felon to do so. You are allowed to foster parent children or teens with come sort of crimes or tickets, as long as it has NOTHING! to do with Child Molestation, and sexual content of any kind or any abuse charges offical or not. Also the states have 2 or 3 differant level of care for foster children. DHS allows almost all people to do so with miminual training. Theraputic Foster Care is much more than tradition and will require a state FBI check in to your life. Theft is not considered a crime that keeps you from doing foster care but other crimes yes they can stop you.

If it happened when they were a teenager it shouldn't even be on their record..If it is you can have it removed or ifit was later after they turned 21 you could ask the DA to have it taken off your record......

i understand what your mean, but, thats not how child services are going to see that. A crime is a crime, whether it was 30 years ago, or 30 mintues ago.
