This is not a swipe at the Big B so please don't write in and have a pop at me. Like you, I too am a huge fan of the Big B! Menon is part of the 'new' generation of extremely talented Bollywood actors and besides Gabbar was everyone's favourite 'bad' guy we all loved to hate! Can't say the same thing of Mr B!

hey no doubt KK Menon is a talented actor umm not sure he wud fill in amjad khan's shoes nd AB noooo wayyy especially wen hes immortalised as jai not a chance in a million dat he'll be able 2 pull of gabbar..atleast i wudnt like it...come 2 think of it.. who cud b as gud as Amjad Khan???

i think that big b will do justice to the role because his capable of performing any role to the highest extent.
i also believe that seeing Amitabh abachan play a different character in the classic sholay will be a big usp of the film. everyone know him as jai of sholay... but wouldn;t it be great to see him as gabbar of sholay( something to remember the old when seeing the new version)
