but i think the guy playin him is a little scrawny from what ive seen in the comics of how eddie brock looks. so my question is, if you had the power, who would you cast to play the role of Venom in Spiderman 3?

Venom has been confirmed to appear in the third film in the Spider-Man series as both the symbiote and Edward "Eddie" Brock, Jr., with Eddie being played by Topher Grace. The symbiote will first coat Spider-Man's costume, giving it a new, black appearance and slightly different spider symbol. Eventually, however, Spider-Man will reject the suit, ripping it off himself within an active bell tower and it will subsequently bond with Brock. There was also a scene from an exclusive trailer released at Comic Con where Eddie sat alone in a church saying, teary-eyed, "I want you to kill Peter Parker." The character's name, "Edward Brock, Jr." is taken from the ultimate continuity version mentioned above.
So... Topher... mmm... No likey... He's TOO thin! Unless he somehow manages 2 gain weight and muscle (just like Edward Norton on "American History X" (Now that I think of it, I would cast him as Venom!)... We'll see...

feels like Sandman, Venom from the trailers. i imagine they are going to examine the Hobgoblin, yet have him stay in the back of the scenes, installation a much more beneficial sinister and sneaky presence than Daddy ever did. i'm getting the sensation this action picture is a transition piece the position the studio is making a concerted attempt to make it into an finished fledged sequence, with more beneficial videos to go back. i glance for a putting ending, with characters intriduced that turns into later villains and heros.

body structure wise? vin diesel...but i wouldn't have him in the movie...cuz of his acting skills but i dunno someone with that body structure could pull off venom! did you know what tobey maguire is on contract for 7 spidey movies?!
